Combine Coach's Overall Comments
Paul has some very good tools that give him the potential to make it in the professional game. He is an excellent passer who finds MF players with proper weighted passes. He can spray balls from deep. His first touch is excellent. He is very coachable and has a tremendous attitude. Paul's main issue is his desire to want to make a play. Too many times he gets himself into difficult situations chasing players into the MF or wide. He lists Center MF as his secondary position and this could be a factor. My best advice is for Paul to be more relaxed and not always chase the game. Patience and simplicity often outweigh risk at central defender. He needs some consistent training and some time to develop with better players. Great potential.
