Combine Coach's Overall Comments
As a left back, Nagamura had good timing when joining the attack and gave his team passing options on the left side. His passing range over long distances showed quality as he strikes a nice longer/driven pass. Not all of his decisions on when to hit long passes were good, so there were a few too many turnovers. Heading was his biggest defensive weakness. Longer passes in his direction were not dealt with well. Other defending moments were inconsistent. He showed some good tackles and at other times was easily beaten against a pacey wide player/forward. Nagamura showed attacking qualities at left back. Physical weaknesses could pose a problem when dealing with fast/strong attacking players.
