Combine Coach's Overall Comments
Addai had a good Combine and was in the running for the top talent game. Not only did he show qualities as a defensive midfielder, but he also filled in at right back and central defender during the event. He showed versatility and quality when asked to play the other roles. His best attribute was tackling and defending from the holding midfield position. Addai read the game well and used his power/strength to break up a lot of plays during the full-sided games. Addai displayed a competitive nature throughout the week and helped his teammates in each game. His attitude and drive helped make up for occasional passing errors and mistakes with the ball. By the final day of the event, he looked more comfortable on the ball in the attacking third and was able to contribute to a couple of goals by starting plays or assisting on goals with wide service. At times, he had fitness issues, but those were also games in which he played significant minutes and covered a lot of ground. Addai could have a positive impact in a holding role and looked capable at playing other defensive positions.
