Combine Coach's Overall Comments
O’Brien played as a left winger and left midfielder. He had moments where he was able to get by defenders and be a threat in the attacking third. He needed to show more ability to run by defenders and get on the end of passes from his teammates. His defensive effort was good during the Combine. O’Brien was always willing to work back and help win the ball. He started each game well. When the space was closed down quickly, he had trouble getting out of situations with the ball. O’Brien has a strong upside and can continue to improve with a good training environment.
