Combine Coach's Overall Comments
Overall, a great organizer and passer and leader as a center back. Technique in passing is good, but needs to improve decisions with passes. Turnovers need to be minimized, especially at the center back slot. Solid potential.

2012: Senior CLASS Award First-Team All-American... named to the All-C-USA Third Team and to the C-USA All-Academic Team. He is the only four-time all-conference and two-time all-academic team honoree in the history of FIU men’s soccer and the first All-American recipient since Alen Kozic in 1997. Hobbs finished his career at FIU with 67 games played, seeing 5,843 minutes on the pitch.

2011: All-Conference USA First Team... C-USA Preseason All-Conference Team and All-Academic Team... FIU's defensive MVP... Started and played 17 matches and racked up 1,629 minutes of action... Took five shots during the season, two of which were on goal... Given the opportunity of a lifetime to compete for a spot in the Olympics as part of the U-23 New Zealand team... Played for New Zealand in the U-20 World Cup... Played for Portland Timbers U23s club team during the summer as part of the UFL's PDL, reaching the Western Conference semi-finals

2010: All-Conference USA Second Team... The defensive MVP for the Panthers starting all 17 games and logging 1,582 minutes, the most on the squad...
