Scouting Report
Technical (1 - 5: 5=strongest)
Category Score Comments
Dribbling 2.5 Knew his limitations, not highly technical, but efficient getting out of pressure. Played well within his means.
Passing 2.5 Played simple and efficient. Would always look for quick outlet option.
1st Touch 2 Quite good but could tighten up as pressure on ball increases.
Crossing N/A
Finishing 2 Has to find that sharpness and confidence. Forwards have to be opportunistic.
Heading 2 Decent in the air. Plays a physical style in the air

Tactical (1 - 5: 5=strongest)
Category Score Comments
Decision Making 3 Does well but maybe too conservative. Encouraged him to take more risk.
Communication 3 A bit quiet but still combined well with other forward
Executes Under Pressure 2 The sharpness needs to improve especially in 18 yd box. Runs off the ball more decisive.
Movement Off Ball 2.5 This will improve with attention to detail. and reading defenses better. When and where to make run, not just standing on the line. Got better though.
Small-Sided Game 3 Was a contributing factor all the time.
Full-Field Game 3 Had adequate chances. That final sharpness is necessary.

Physical Ability (1 - 5: 5=strongest)
Category Score Comments
Strength 3 Quite strong on the ball and holding. Rarely lost the ball.
Speed 3 Good engine, could work on more varied speed to play at to unbalance defenders
Quickness 2 Could get better once he plays a ball off and run into or create space.
Endurance 3 Respectable physical fitness even with minor injury.
Agility 3 Very effective at finding separation and turning and facing defenders.

Combine Coach's Overall Comments
A real blue collar forward. Liked the ball at his feet and back to the goal. Fantastic work ethic and character. Understands the aspect of the forward having to contribute offensively and defensively. Needs to work on the aspect of unbalancing defenses with 1) timed runs in behind 2) sharp decisive runs in the box.
