Must continue to work hard on individual (1v1) defending as well as ability to deliver a quality cross, consistently into the danger areas. Believe he can currently play NASL/USL, possibly higher in the future with improvement in these areas.

2011: NAIA Men's Soccer All-America honorable mention. All-Golden State Athletic Conference. He helped the Eagles allow just 21 goals against in 20 games this season. Shelton has also been extremely versatile, moving to the forward position when Biola needed late goals during the middle of the season. He scored three of his four goals over a two game stretch, tallying two goals in the final 10 minutes of a game at Westmont, than scoring another late goal in Biola's overtime win at Point Loma Nazarene.
