Scouting Report
Technical (1 - 5: 5=strongest)
Category Score Comments
Dribbling 3 Needs refinement. With his pace and athleticism could make a noticeable impact if this were cleaned up
Passing 3 Needed to concentrate on sticking his passes into proper feet if his teammates
1st Touch 2 Struggled under pressure, decent when he had time
Crossing N/A
Finishing 2 Lacked the necessary polish for the pro game in the final 1/3.
Heading 3 Athletic in the air, but need to have a purpose with what you are doing when heading the ball

Tactical (1 - 5: 5=strongest)
Category Score Comments
Decision Making 2 Because of slower speed of play, missed opportunities to exploit for himself and teammates
Communication 3 Decent but could be more precise and meaningful
Executes Under Pressure 3 Seemed to lack that final ability to finish off things, whether a pass or shooting. His athleticism got him in good positions but needs to sharpen final execution.
Movement Off Ball 2 Likes the ball at his feet and is decent in 1v1 but would have liked to have seen playing and running off to use his speed.
Small-Sided Game 3 Played well, but fitness became a factor.
Full-Field Game 3 Played well for the most part, but needed to concentrate more on positioning and transitioning moments.

Physical Ability (1 - 5: 5=strongest)
Category Score Comments
Strength 3 Quality athleticism, soccer physique and was not pushed off the ball easily.
Speed 4 Great pace but needs to complement this with better technical ability.
Quickness 4 Showed great ability in small spaces and once past a player
Endurance 3 I believe this hurt him on the full field getting up and down the field offensively and transitioning to defense.
Agility 3 Moved well and above average.

Combine Coach's Overall Comments
A very athletically-gifted player. Needs refinement in 1v1 ability going to players and being more dynamic at his outside midfield position. Expressed I wanted him to come get the ball and find separation with defenders to turn and take on. Also better fitness to be an 18 to 18 yard box player. Was able to attack decently but at times needed more diligence transitioning back defensively.
