An attack-minded central mid. Very good game awareness and composure. Good skill on the ball and good movement off. Could talk more. Thinks the game well. Very coachable.

Collegiate Soccer Career

National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Men’s Division II All-America third team. Daktronics NCAA Divsion II All-America second team. The senior forward was also tabbed as the Daktronics NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Player of the Year and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Confernece (PSAC) Athlete of the Year.

Latifi finished as the PSAC statistical champion in points (35), points per game (1.94), goals (15) and goals per game (0.83). Latifi has been named to an all-conference team four straight seasons after being named three times to the All-PSAC team and once to the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Confernce (GLIAC) team. He was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America lll-region first team and the Daktronics all-region second team in 2008. Latifi was also tabbed as GLIAC Freshman of the year in 2007.

Latifi finishes his stellar career as the all-time leader in game-winning goals by a large margin as his 18 goals are 12 better than second place. Latifi’s name also appears in several other career totals, finishing sixth in goals (44), ninth in points (102), fifth in matches started (64) and sixth in matches played (67).
