Combine Coach's Overall Comments:
Pretty good athlete. Decent technique. Got his shots in the frame. Needs more power in his shooting. Good service from the LT. Movement to get open could be better as well as when to try top beat an opponent 1v1. Better decisions will help him get a USL shot.

2009: All-WCC second team... Funkhouser tied for second on the team in scoring this season with four goals and four assists for 12 points. He finished his career with 10 goals, 13 assists to tie Perdido and two others for sixth all-time and 33 points. He led the team in match-winning goals this season with two against Georgia Southern University in the Gonzaga Nike Soccer Classic semifinals and against the University of San Francisco. He finished with four match-winning goals in his career. 2008: Started all 19 matches...scored three goals, led team with six assists and was second in points with 12...named to All-West Coast Conference second team. 2007: Started 18 of 20 matches, coming off bench in final two regular-season games and then re-entering starting lineup at SMU in first round of NCAA Tournament...scored two goals and had an assist...2006: Saw action in 14 matches, two starts to provide depth at midfielder...first collegiate start came at Washington and his second start was at No. 7 Santa Clara in season finale...first collegiate goal gave Gonzaga 1-0 lead over the Broncos in a match the Bulldogs would win 2-1 in overtime...first collegiate point was assist in 2-1 setback at San Diego...also assisted on match-winning goal in 2-1 double-overtime home win over San Francisco
